Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-13
This site sets no cookies and retains no data that directly identifies you. It is a static site hosted on Cloud Native France's infrastructure. The audience measurement described below is self-hosted and cookie-free.
Audience measurement
We use Umami, an open-source analytics tool that we host ourselves on our own infrastructure. No data is sent to any third party.
Umami works without cookies. For each visit, the following are recorded:
- the page viewed and the time it was viewed;
- the referring site (for example, the social network you arrived from);
- the country, derived from your IP address;
- the browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language.
Your IP address is not retained. It is used only at the time of the visit, to derive the country and to compute an anonymous session identifier; it is never written to any database. No advertising identifiers, no profiling, no sharing with third parties.
Your browser's "Do Not Track" signal is honoured — if it is enabled, no visit is recorded.

Third-party services
This site embeds a few third-party services that may set their own cookies or collect data under their own terms:
- Google Fonts (DM Sans) — the font is served via the Astro Font integration. Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
- YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) — the cookie-free variant used to embed the retrospective video on the Venue page. Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
- OpenStreetMap — venue map embedded via iframe. Policy: https://osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.
- Google Sheets (build-time fetch) — sponsor, team and schedule lists are fetched from Google Sheets when the site is compiled. No user data is transmitted to Google during your visit.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the French "Informatique et Libertés" law, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection regarding your personal data. Our audience measurement retains neither your IP address nor any identifier that could recognise you, so no recorded data can be linked back to you individually. You may nonetheless send any request or complaint to the contact address above, or directly to the French data-protection authority, the CNIL.
