Last updated: 2026-05-18
Our pledge
In the interest of fostering an open and welcoming community, we pledge to make participation a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, personal appearance, social class, socio-economic status, skin color, body size, culture, education, ethnicity, marital status, gender and gender expression, identity, nationality, level of experience, sexual orientation, weight, religion, political views, disability of any kind, height, or any other dimension of diversity.
We are committed to making our community a respectful, open and caring space, grounded in fairness and accessibility, in order to foster a genuinely diverse and inclusive community.
Our standards

- taking responsibility for our mistakes, apologizing to those affected and learning from the experience;
- acting in both individual and community interest;
- using welcoming and inclusive language.
Examples of unacceptable behavior:
- the use of sexualized language or imagery, and sexual attention or advances of any kind;
- violence, threats of violence, or encouraging others to engage in violent behavior;
- insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks;
- public or private harassment of any form;
- following someone without their consent;
- unwanted physical contact;
- publishing other people's private information — such as a postal address, email address or phone number — without their explicit permission;
- any other conduct that could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.
The following behaviors are also prohibited:
- knowingly providing false or misleading information in the course of a code of conduct investigation, or deliberately tampering with such an investigation;

Enforcement responsibilities
Cloud Native Days 2026 organizers are responsible for clarifying and upholding our standards of acceptable behavior and will take all necessary, appropriate and fair action — including corrective action — in response to any behavior they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive or harmful.
Scope
This code of conduct applies to every person taking part in the Cloud Native Days 2026 event in any capacity — attendee, speaker, exhibitor, selection committee member, vendor, organizing team member, and so on — and to any interaction that may take place before or after the event between such people in the context of Cloud Native Days 2026.
Enforcement
Instances of abusive, harassing or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported to the team in charge of code of conduct enforcement at conduct@cloudnativedays.fr.
After reviewing and verifying any reported incident, the competent enforcement team will decide on the appropriate measures, based on this code of conduct and its supporting documentation.
Every member of the Cloud Native Days 2026 organizing team is committed to respecting the privacy and safety of anyone who has reported an incident.
Amendments
Any substantial change to this code of conduct must be approved by the board of the Cloud Native France association.
